About Me

I am an outgoing and inspiring executive with 30+ years of experience in communications, program strategy and design, community outreach, and public engagement for a variety of innovative, community-oriented philanthropic and non-profit media organizations. I recently moved back to my home state of New Mexico and am excited about new vocational opportunities. A collaborative leader with a vision of personal and societal flourishing, I thrive working with individuals and organizations seeking transformational change in communities and society through deep learning, spiritual practice, and unique opportunities to engage.

WHAT’S NEXT
After nearly 15 years in philanthropy, I relocated to my native heart home of New Mexico, where the big, blue sky fuels my optimism, the wide horizon holds my multi-faceted perspectives, and the ground steadies the re-rooting I am experiencing. I am passionate about all forms of storytelling and the intersections of technology, personal reflection, and community transformation. I am seeking opportunities to share my deep-seated passions and holistic work by supporting individuals or organizations with transformative missions—philanthropy, media, education, and spirituality are my sweet spots.

Spirituality Study

This body of work—a landmark study of spirituality in the United States—began in 2017 when I was Director of Movement Building for the Fetzer Institute. In partnership with Hattaway Communications, the first report came out in 2020. A new study was commissioned in 2022 at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic as we wanted to learn about if and how spirituality helped people get through such difficulty. I continued to coordinate the project and was the lead author of the report published in 2023 featuring analysis of data from over 3,600 Americans.
